Braintree is a company that specializes in mobile and web payment systems for e-commerce companies. You can find it in the Payment methods menu of your shop admin. To activate the payment method you’ll need a Merchant Account Id, Merchant Id, Public Key, and Private Key. When you add them your customers will be able to complete their order using Credit cards or Paypal. Follow the steps to activate the payment method:
- Login to your account or create one here
- Copy Merchant id, Private key, and Public key
- Go to Settings/ Business
- Copy the Merchant account id
- Save the changes
Keep in mind that Your shop’s default currency must be the same as your Braintree registered currency
